Building Connections with our Largest Mosaic To Date!

In January, Brixilated revealed the largest, community-built LEGO® mosaic we’ve ever created! Coming in at 16 feet wide and 4 feet tall, this stunning piece of community artwork is on permanent display at the newly opened Northmont Branch of the Dayton Metro Library!
Mosaic at Dayton Metro Library

Designed and built in partnership with the Dayton Metro Library, Northmont City Schools, and artist Megan Higgins, the mosaic was built using over 32,000 LEGO bricks, with each of the 1,024, individual squares built out, brick-by-brick, by students and young community members at local libraries and schools.

Representing the ‘Building Connections’ theme at the library, local artist Megan Higgins of Dogwood Finch showcases the rich history across the local area and the connections between ourselves, industry, the natural world, and innovation.

Stop by the Northmont Branch at 700 W. National Rd, Englewood Ohio, 45322 to see it in person and learn about all the incredible programming available from the Dayton Metro Library!
